End of an Era: Tapwave Zodiac Officially Discontinued

July 28, 2005

You can read the sad news here at the Tapwave site. I’m very sorry to see this happen; in many ways the Tapwave Zodiac is *still* my favorite Palm OS handheld, even though I switched to the palmOne LifeDrive in May. In its day, it was quite revolutionary: 128MB of RAM, two SC card slots, analog joystick and trigger buttons, and a gorgeous screen that easily changed orientation from portrait to landscape.

If you want to pick one up, or if you want to get some accessories for your current Zodiac unit, head out to CompUSA, Fry’s, or J&R quickly!

I just read this on a blog I frequent (www.zodattack.blogspot.com) and it is definitely sad news. I've been a Zod fan since I got mine over a year and a half ago. Thanks for making mention of it.
