RockRidgeSound has announced that it will release a special recorder hooking directly to the TV or DVD player, and recording your shows and movies straight to Memory Stick, in the right format for playback on your PSP (MP4). Additionally, the recorder is also compatible with the new Play-Yan from Nintendo and Mediastage, which has just been launched for Nintendo DS and GBA SP (using Smart Card media). The VRX02 (that’s the model name) is used in a similar way as a VHS recorder for tapes, without the hassle that downloading and converting files can be. Just grab what you want to watch from the selected channel, that’s it.
