PalmSource Expert Guides
March 19, 2004
In case you haven’t heard, PalmSource has put together some excellent resources for Palm OS users— the Expert Guides. They cover everything from software to books to user stories on a variety of topics, including specific professions like medicine and real estate, interests as varied as Astronomy and Knitting, and tasks such as Instant Messaging and Time Tracking. If you haven’t checked them out yet, you certainly should— there really is a lot of great information there.
I’ve written three of the guides (Life/Time Management, Education: Students, Project Management (not yet posted)) and am currently working on creating a fourth. I could certainly use your help! If you have any suggestions for software or ebooks that should be included, please let me know— I can’t keep up with every new resource for Palm OS devices, though I certainly do try. I’m especially interested in user stories— how has a Palm OS device or a certain piece of software really helped you in one of the areas mentioned above. If you see something missing from one of the other guides, you can still post it in the discussion forums and I’ll forward the information to the author of the guide.
Thanks for helping, and I look forward to reading all of your responses in the discussion forum. I’m sure that there are a lot of great stories to tell. Palm OS computing has certainly changed my life, and definitely for the better!
