Must Have Software for your Palm OS 5 Device

Full reviews are coming soon, but if you have a Palm Tungsten T or Sony Clie NX series device, you might want to go ahead and look at these new utilities:

NewPen is a utility that allows you to write Graffiti anywhere on the screen. You may never need to open your Tungsten slider again! Freeware, available here.

oKey is another utility from the same author that allows you to select menus, “tap” on screen buttons, and generally control applications simply by using the 5 way Navigator on the Tungsten T or the keyboard on Sony NX series devices. Freeware, available here.

TextPlus isn’t freeware, but it is imcredibly effective. It’s a text completion utility that will suggest words and phrases after you write in just a couple of letters, greatly increasing your Graffiti speed. You can add new words to the dictionary, and the developer claims that after just a bit of training it’s smart enough to guess which word you’ll use next, based on frequency of use.
