Remember the Transformers?
August 9, 2002
If that brings up instant thoughts of those cool toys from the 80’s, then read on. One of my loyal readers just told me about the ThinkDB databases he’s created and willing to share with all of us. According to the author, Thaddeus Cultt, ” I’ve created a database set of the Tech Specs of the Transformers, a series of hugely successful toys originally released in the US in the 80’s by Hasbro. The databases contain the info found on the cards that were printed on the boxes and cards of the toys. It’s a fun set of databases, and great use for collectors who no longer have the packaging, RPG fans, and anyone who wants to relive their childhood for a while.”
If you’ve got ThinkDB (or this is enough to convince you to buy it), then head here to grab a copy of the Transformers databases for yourself. And if any of the rest of you have written your own databases, documents, or cool software for Palm OS or PocketPC devices, be sure and tell me all about it. You just might end up featured here on PocketGoddess.com. And what could be cooler than that?
