DayNotez Desktop Now Supports Password Security

September 19, 2001

As you may know, DayNotez is one of my favorite programs for the Palm OS, and this is a huge improvement that I’ve been looking forward to for quite a while. That’s not all though- there’s also spell-checking, more list, viewing, and printing options, and of course the requisite bug fixes (though I must say that I have never had any problems with this product). I just got the upgrade notice in my email box last night and wanted to pass the good news on to everyone.

Changes in version 1.2.1+ Includes DayNotez for Palm OS v1.7.1

  • Password protection and data encryption
  • Bullet list behavior that mimics the Palm side
  • Numbered lists
  • Options for Start of Week being Monday or Sunday in DateNav
  • Custom View now prints the entries in the same order as displayed
  • Optional printing of Title, Header, and Footer lines
  • User definable report title
  • New look to printouts
  • New “Live Spell-check” option
  • Autocorrect spelling option
  • Use MS Word user dictionaries
  • Time rounding for new entries
  • and several bug fixes….

Needless to say I’ll be downloading this and trying it out as soon as possible! If the lack of security on the desktop was holding you back from trying out DayNotez, your problem has been solved— head on over to Natara Software and get a free trial today.
