PC Card Packaging

January 9, 2002

Why, put them in a container provided by PC Card Packaging, of course! You’ve probably already seen some of their products, since their main business is actually to provide OEM cases for PC cards, Compact Flash modules, and the like. But some of their new products are considerably more exciting, especially the CardCondo (the red, yellow, and blue items in the picture). As you can see, each one is capable of storing four Secure Digital cards in comfort and style. Just slide the card in from the side until it snaps into place, and when you need to remove it, push the card down slightly and slide it out again. Some of their other products include Compact Flash holders designed to keep two cards safe, as well as some smaller boxes designed to hold single SmartMedia or Secure Digital cards.

When you consider just how expensive some memory expansion products are these days, it’s easy to see that they need to be protected, just as you might buy a case for your handheld. While you can’t buy PC Card Packaging’s products directly at this time (though they are making plans for a web store at their site) you might want to check around and see if you can find them. They’re top-notch products that you won’t be disappointed with at all.
