I guess Amazon was just waiting for Barnes & Noble to make a move, because the company sent out a press release just a short while ago: the Amazon Kindle is now $189. That’s just a tad less than the 3G nook, which is now selling for $199, but I’m not sure that’s enough of a price difference to concern consumers who were already willing to shell out $200 for an electronic reading device.
