Upcoming Reviews: Gomadic QuadCharge and Laridian PocketBible for Windows

by PocketGoddess on August 24, 2007

There are a few exciting things happening in my corner of the mobile landscape, and I thought it was time for a sneak peek at two upcoming reviews on the site. Both of these products were released this past week and are from companies that have earned my trust for outstanding quality in the past–if you can’t wait for my reviews, go ahead and get them, and I’m 99.99998% sure you’ll love whatever you choose. If you’re the cautious type, my detailed review of each product will be posted within the next two weeks.
The Gomadic QuadCharge Universal Charging Station aims to reduce the clutter and potential fire hazard (!) associated with plugging too many gadgets into one outlet and provides a convenient and attractive way to charge up to four devices at once. It sells for $49.95 and you can get more information here.
If you use and enjoy Laridian software on your Palm OS or Windows Mobile handheld, you’ll probably be very excited to know that a Windows desktop version is now available. I was able to get in on the alpha and beta testing phases before release, and I was blown away by the power and simplicity behind this product. I’ve used just about every Bible software package out there for a variety of platforms, but PocketBible has quickly become my favorite (it’s so much easier to use than BibleWorks!). You can get it for $29.99 by itself, and there are several bundle options available. For more details, including screenshots, click here.
