by PocketGoddess on April 21, 2006

  • Play-Asia is now taking pre-orders for a very cool accessory for the Nintendo DS: the Communicator Headset. It looks very similar to a traditional cell phone headset, with a clip on design that covers one ear and a boom microphone. That means no more yelling into your DS when you’re trying to teach Fido to roll over, and it will also make online voice chat while playing Metroid Hunters easier and more convenient. The price is $14.90 and it will be available in May. You can place your Communicator Headset pre-order here; Play-Asia has an excellent selection of games, accessories, soundtracks, anime movies, and much more, with superior customer service and fast shipping.
  • EarthComber has just released a major update for their Palm OS software that offers turn-by-turn directions. For more information visit the EarthComber web site.
  • OliveTree has released several new commentaries to go with their BibleReader application, including Matthew Henry’s Commentary on the whole Bible, the Jewish New Testament Commentary by David H. Stern, and the Commentary on the Old Testament by Keil & Delitzch. Several Bibles have also been updated with text corrections, red letter editions, and more. Prices vary; you can get more information here.
  • Speck Products has just released their ToughSkin for the Treo 700w smartphone; it features ruggedized styling, a flip-up screen cover, and a deluxe swivel holster. You can get it now in black or clear for $34.95 at the Speck Products web site.
