<description>I have called Broderbund and find that they do not offer update or support tech. I think they bought the company to shut it down. I still use QV4 and am quite happy with it. Anything newer is a waste of time (literally) changing the discs is more time consuming then worthwhile.
I have tried others and find QV4 to be the best (if you can get along on a limp and a prayer).

<description>I have the Palm Treo 650 and just bought QV Platinum 2007. Once I installed to the card, nothing but the white screen of death on the QV desktop in the app. I went to the CD and tried to install from the folders located there. Then I reset the Palm and had a bigger problem. Every time I opened QV the Treo would reset itself....
So, I tried going to the &quot;Delete&quot; menu on the Palm itself and deleted QV and the QV library file under it.
Then, I went to the &quot;Copy&quot; menu and copied anything I could to the card from the Treo to get myself to over 10MB of space reserved on the Palm.
Afterward, I went back to the Delete menu to finalize the deletion of the files I just copied to the card.
Now, go to the card menu and open QV. It started immediately looking for books and installing them to the card as it was supposed to originally. I know this is sketchy in detail, but I was just going through the process of elimination and stumbled on this fix. I hope it helps.
QV seems to have a built in safety feature that keeps the program from being installed correctly or fully based on the memory size in the handheld. Does this ring true with anyone else?
I am still not out of the woods yet though. There are a few &quot;required&quot; files that don&#039;t seem to work. I&#039;m going to go back through the CD route as mentioned above on the fix provided by Laini (thank you) and use the quick install feature to put it on the PALM FIRST AND THEN MOVE IT TO THE CARD. I really think that should do it.
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Rob

<description>I have had no luck at installing Quickverse 2007 Plat. On my Moto Q 9h. It simply won&#039;t work. I have tried doing the manuel install where you copy the files and it still doesn&#039;t work. If anyone knows anyway to work around this, please let me know.

<description>I had the same problem as Will with installing QuickVerse Pocket PC 2006 Platinum, because I was getting at 95% through installation, the error &quot;Findex Quickverse PPC&quot; cannot be installed, followed by &quot;Installation of Quickverse PPC.cab was unsuccessful&quot;.
I was able to resolve this by the FAQ at

		<description>Quickverse,
When you get these problems resolved, please email me, I am interested in your product, but not all the concerns other customer&#039;s are having.
God bless,
Kim

<description>I have versions 3 Deluxe. 4 Deluxe, 6 Esstientials and 7 deluxe. I have yet to be able to open any of them completely. The people at quickverse are as confused as I am. I was told that onlocking codes with come with my Disks. That too has not happened. Broderbund seems to be the culprit as far as I can determine. quickverse has been my favorite study program for years but I am now starting to think maybe it is a time for a change. Which one will I be able to trust though is my question. Anyone got good serive and use from another program?

<description>I sent the following email via the QV support page. I haven&#039;t heard back from them in 4 days. I called tech support and after waiting for 12 minutes on hold, was told that the technician didn&#039;t have answers to any of my questions. I have tried to re-send my email via QV&#039;s support &quot;contact us&quot; option for the last two days and I always get an error message that an error has been encountered. If you can answer any of the questions or get help for me, I&#039;d be grateful.

I have a Sony PEG-TH55 with a 1G Memory Stick
I emailed you regarding the inability of 2005 Quickverse PDA to retain changes or additions to the Categories available within the Bookmark drop-down menu. I am still waiting for an answer. I called your tech support number and the technician didn&#039;t have any idea how to address the problem.
I paid that technician for an upgrade to 2006 Quickverse Deluxe PDA, hoping the problem would be fixed. It is in the 2006 version also.
With 2006, I now have several new problems.
1. I instructed install to use my memory card, but none of the books that were installed to the PALM/LAUNCHER directory on my memory stick are accessible or viewable to Quickverse 2006. With 2005, they were stored on the memory stick as .STP files and were located in a QUICKVERSE directory.
At the present time, the only way Quickverse can see the installed books is if I move them from the memory stick to the Palm RAM. That is an unacceptable solution.
2. Since my version of 2006 was a download, I am unable to pick and choose from your .exe install file, what books I want to include.
3. Where can I find a more complete user documentation than the QV Help file installed on my Palm?
4. 2006 is advertised as having, &quot;Intelligent Verse Markers: QuickVerse recognizes verse notation in any reference or devotional. With a tap, you can review the reference in your favorite Bible translation.&quot; I find nothing in the help file that documents this function. What is it, and how does it work?
5. Why are my book marks for a particular version of the Bible showing up even in other documents?
6. Why are Highlights such a drag on the software? I have just 7 highlights, but to open them with the marker tab takes 30 seconds. With each new highlight the lag time increases. If I choose to toggle between organize Highlights by color or by book, the switch takes 30 seconds with only 7 highlights.
7. When is 2007 Quickverse PDA for Palm going to be released? Will it be any faster to use? Will changes or additions to Catagories actually be retained?

<description>Are you using a Pocket PC? I know that Quickverse does require you to go through a full install program, instead of just unzipping a download file and choosing what books you want to install.
If both of you are still having install problems, use the Contact form on the left to contact me privately and I&#039;ll see if I can get you priority support from Quickverse.

<description>I&#039;m with Will. Can install only about 4 programs, can load most of the others but then can&#039;t unlock them and I&#039;m still waiting for the unlock codes. I can&#039;t even find the LAB set of books on the disk. I&#039;m ready to look for something else.
